A refugium for a noble breed
NK Arabians are bred following our unique breeding concept, which is based on a closed limited population. This concept is world-wide without comparison and in operations since over 40 years.
This secures our specific NK Arabian type which gives our horses their distinguished look, ever recognizable among many.
The asthetics and guidelines we follow are deeply rooted in the history of the Arabian horse, a heritage we truly respect.

A long history
NK Katharinenhof Stud was founded in 1967 by Dr Hans Nagel. The Arabian horses residing there became the elixir of happiness during all his very busy life. It is the first and oldest private stud in Europe breeding exclusively Egyptian Arabians.
Exclusive Egyptian Arabians
A herd of about 30 Arabians is living at this time in the wide green pastures of the stud, breathing the healthy air of Northern Germany.
These are the brood mares and stallions of the world-wide-known NK Arabians.
