In NK Arabians there are still and clearly present numerous particular features, which have developed in this unique desert breed during a long history. Two decisive hallmarks make an Arabian differ from all other horse breeds: the shape of its head and the tail-carriage

The 1st hallmark
A head, elegant and concave shaped
The elegant concaved Head
- A shorter head, wide forehead, very remarkable eye sockets and with a distinct natural appealing concaved front line
- A fine mouth with wide opened nostrils and a pointed underlip
- Small ears, not too broad
- Dark round eyes, medium to large, more frequently found in broad heads than in longer and slimer ones
- In total, a head shape of a triangle.
The 2nd hallmark
A high tail-carriage
The high tail-carriage of an Arabian should be shown at any occasion:
- while standing
- at trot
- at gallop
A horse is more than just head shape and tail carriage
The body and leg conformation in NK Arabians must be in conformity with all requirements valid for a good, correct horse, however, with slight differences:
- A longer, more flat croup is preferred
- A medium long neck and a clean fine throat (mitbah)
- In total a light horse
The height of an authentic Arabian should be in the range of 148 – 155 cm (for male & female); the body weight about 350 kg (recorded in ancient stud books, reports and present and solidly fixed without any exceptions in NK Arabians).
NK Arabians are selected, from the very beginning, for a good and human-friendly temper. Temper is just as heritable as well as other features.
